I selected the 4/5Y size for my daughter. She is quite petite for almost five-years-old, so the 4/5Y is slightly large on her. However, I wanted a slightly bigger jacket that she could continue to wear next spring and maybe even next fall. When the jacket arrived, my daughter was thrilled by all the colorful cats. My toddler son also loves pointing at all the kitties. The colorful print is perfect for any little cat lover! My daughter also loves the hood. She gets cold quite easily and prefers to pull a hood up over her head rather than wearing a hat when the weather is cool but not cold.
In terms of quality, the sewing is even and appears secure. The zipper is metal on plastic teeth. I have had trouble with all plastic zippers in the past on hoodies for my kids, so I appreciate the metal portion, which should last the lifetime of the jacket. I will update my review should the zipper unexpectedly break, but the zipper seems strong and sturdy.
Overall I am quite pleased with the new light cat print jacket that I received for my daughter. She also love her new kitty coat, which is high praise for a sometimes picky little girl!
